Civil concrete works include large concrete structures such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, wind farms, and locks. Few realize that these civil engineering masterpieces are crafted by skilled professionals. Behind every project are experts who construct these remarkable structures.
In this exciting sector, we are constantly seeking new employees, both skilled workers and supervisory staff.
With the shortened training programs from Civilion, you can become a skilled worker, foreman, or aspiring supervisor!
The shortened learning paths are suitable for candidates who have already completed MBO 3 or 4. Because you already have this prior education, you won't study subjects like mathematics and Dutch; instead, you'll focus solely on the knowledge needed in the practical field. In 1.5 years, you'll achieve your first sector diploma.

Your Workplace
Civilion ensures a workplace with one of the construction companies in your area. There, you'll be assigned a personal mentor to guide you in practice.

What does your training look like?
The shortened concrete carpenter learning route takes 1.5 years. In this time, you'll come to the training institute in 's-Hertogenbosch six times. Each time, you'll undergo 3 days of training, covering both theory and practical lessons. If you want to continue, you can proceed with the advanced shortened learning route, which you'll complete in six months. If you're still enthusiastic afterward, you can take our courses that will make you a foreman/aspiring supervisor. If you don't live near 's-Hertogenbosch, no problem; we can arrange overnight stays in a nearby hotel during the training days. This way, you'll start each school day well-rested!

This shortened training program is specially designed for anyone who wants to switch to civil construction and already holds an MBO 3 or MBO 4 diploma.
About Civilion
Civilion is the training center within Civil Engineering, founded by contractors from all over the Netherlands. You combine the MBO training of Civilion with a workplace at one of the best contractors. We offer training at MBO levels 2, 3, and 4, from apprentice concrete carpenter to assistant supervisor. In short, earn money and (re)train in a future-proof industry!
